Das NDR Fernsehen überträgt das Ereignis dieses Jahr bereits zum 35. Mal live aus der Royal Albert Hall. Solist ist der Tenor Juan Diego Flórez. Es spielt das BBC Symphony Orchestra unter der Leitung von Sakari Oramo.
